Contract groups within Klevr Contracts, our Dynamics 365 contract management add-on, allow users to organise multiple contracts under a single group for better oversight and streamlined management. This guide will walk you through the setup and management of contract groups, helping you monitor related contracts and accurately track financials.
Steps for managing contract groups in Dynamics 365 using contract management add-on Klevr Contracts
1. Navigate to the contract group section
- Open Dynamics 365 and select the Contracts Group section from the navigation menu.
- Use the list view to filter and find contract groups based on your custom filters.
2. Create a contract group
- Select a contract group from the list or create a new one.
- Fill in the header fields, including a unique code, name, and description.
- Optionally, add external references for integration with other systems, and apply tags for easier searching and reporting.
3. Track group statistics
- View key statistics like the total contract value and last end date, which are automatically calculated based on the associated contracts.
- The total contract value sums all contracts except subcontracts, which are excluded to prevent double-counting financials.
4. How to manage contracts within a group
- Link multiple contracts to the group, such as a master contract and associated subcontracts.
- Subcontracts will be tracked but not added to the total value, ensuring proper financial reporting.
5. How to exploring related contracts
- Use the Related Contracts tab to view all active contracts associated with the group.
- Select any contract for more detailed information about its status, terms, and financials.
Managing contract groups in the Klevr Contracts application allows for enhanced organisation and accurate financial tracking.
By grouping related contracts together, you can gain a comprehensive view of your contract portfolios and ensure all contracts are properly tracked.
