Define Fundraising Campaign Objectives
We begin by setting clear and measurable goals for our campaign. We aim to raise $50,000 for a new scholarship program and also set a target for securing 100 monthly pledges at $50 each. We configure this into the campaign.
Segment Donor Database and Set Up Donor Journeys
Our Donor Manager uses Klevr Fundraising to segment the donor database into key groups, using built-in AI via Microsoft Copilot, they quickly identify high-value donors, recurring donors, event attendees, and new potential supporters (newsletter subscribers). We build donor journeys for each segment to tailor the campaign messaging and ensure that the right individuals receive the most relevant and compelling appeals.

Set Up Donation Channels
The software enables us to set up various donation channels, including an online giving page via the branded online portal, SMS donation links, and event-based donation buttons. These channels are designed for convenience and accessibility, making it easy for supporters to contribute through their preferred method, whether online or during an event.
Create Campaign Materials
With the help of Klevr Fundraising, we creates customised campaign materials such as email templates, landing pages, and sms text messages. These materials are designed to engage different donor segments, providing them with the necessary information and a clear path to donate or pledge support.
Set Up Pledge Tracking
For the recurring donation option, we set up pledge tracking. Donors can commit to a monthly contribution of $50 and set up automatic payments via our online portal and direct integration of our payment gateway. This allows donors to manage there pledge and helps us monitor progress towards our donation goal in real-time.
Launch Campaign
Once everything is in place, we officially launch the campaign. Emails are sent to the segmented donor groups, the online portal landing and donation page goes live, and sms campaigns go live. The Klevr Fundraising supports a coordinated, multi-channel launch, helping us reach a wide audience quickly and effectively.
Monitor and Adjust
Throughout the campaign, we use Klevr Fundraising’s real-time dashboard to track progress. We monitor key metrics like donations received, donor engagement, and conversion rates from different channels. If certain areas show low performance, the team can quickly adjust strategies, such as revising messaging or increasing outreach to specific groups.
Acknowledge and Steward Donors
After the campaign concludes, the software automatically sends thank-you emails and donation receipts to all contributors. We also use the software to follow up with major donors, sending personalised notes of appreciation. These stewardship efforts help maintain donor relationships and build trust for future campaigns.
Analyse and Report Results
Once the campaign is over, we generate comprehensive reports using Klevr Fundraising.
